Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelter
"With support from our communities..."
Our heart is to be a good neighbor and community partner. Some of you may not know that we are NOT a drop off site for secondary (used) items (ie clothing, bedding, furniture, etc.). We do not accept any used items at the shelter.
HoOHS simply does not have the capability or capacity to receive, sanitize, store and process these items.
Because of this, we can only take monetary donations or new items, either in the box and/or with the tags still on them.
We support & partner with agencies that DO specialize in taking used items. Here is a list of our neighbors, friends and community partners that do accept these types of items:
